What is Mysticism?

January 1, 2017 ,

Mysticism

Mysticism is often defined as the Mystical Experience which is usually described as an emotional state of being where one feels that they have a direct relationship with the divine, or God.

However, Mysticism is more than this. Mysticism is a process one must go through to acquire this state; and other higher states of Consciousness.

This process took place in the Mystery School. The Mystical experience being but one of many states of consciousness within these institutions, and the methods of initiation applied to acquire this knowledge to obtain the Mystical state, are found in the Mysteries, or questions; and at the core of all of this is the question “Man Know Yourself”.
