Talking Politics is Crazy

Talking about politics in America is crazy. The tone of people’s voice alone when they talk about politics is the same tone used when they talk about the bums in their family always asking for money.

And that’s kinda what the government’s become. Uncle Sam neglecting his children. People feel like they have something owed to them because Uncle Sam is quick to take but slow to give back. I don’t blame them. If Uncle Sam thinks he knows how to spend our money then how come we’re in debt? Why should we be giving Uncle Sam our money? He’s the father figure. He should be loaning me some money. But no, Uncle Sam’s broke ass doesn’t know how to save money, it knows how to spend it, and it knows how to ask for more, but saving it is like some weird concept from a science fiction story.

So we Americans feel neglected by our government. It’s turned talking politics in America into an episode of Jerry Spring. Your aunt has to break up your fight with your step dad over whether or not we should build a wall.

Our personal convictions over dramatized to the point that our general opinions become moments of defiance that change our lives forever. And it’s not even over pressing issues it’s always remedial shit that doesn’t even matter in the large scope of things.

But politics in America is crazy. It always ends with blowing up the countries causing us problems. And maybe we should blow up Syria, North Korea, Russia, Mexico, China, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Guatemala, and Lybia.

Maybe we should just blow everybody else up. Bomb the world. Because that’s probably what it’s going to take to get us to start making better administrative choices at the core level. Kill each other off if we’re lucky so this planet can start over. I would die for this planet before I would this country.

I’m just saying I would die to protect this planet from a country destroying it then protect a country destroying the planet. Because the truth is this. The earth is bigger than the entire population combined. Humanity is but a larger, lazier form of bacteria. So if we want to wipe that out and let the Earth do her thing until the bitter end then I can live with that.
